- FRIMEKS is an ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory.- We specialize in Clutch and Brake Testing, and offer a large variety of automotive engineering services, with particular emphasis on braking, as well as application software in the areas of Maintenance Management and Computer Aided Evaluation, and a range of test equipment & units intended for laboratory or field testing of automotive brakes and brake systems.
- Some of the services that we are able to offer are:
- R&D in Tribology of automotive friction materials operating in wet and dry conditions, including testing for performance and reliability of clutches and brakes, using full-scale inertia dynamometers;
- Approval, Conformity and Certification testing of brake replacement components, clutches, brakes and whole vehicles with regard to braking, following ECE Regs. No. 13, 78 and 90, and Local Regulations;
- Virtual Prototyping of Mechanical Parts - road vehicle components, friction brakes for road and rail vehicles;
- FEM Analyses, Virtual Testing and application of other advanced technologies (Pro/Engineer, CATIA, etc.);
- Design and development of full scale inertia dynamometers for both clutch and brake testing.
